JSW Group aims for 50-GWh battery capacity by 2030
The company will start with reaching a 10-GWh manufacturing capacity by 2026, followed by an ambitious scale-up to 50 GWh by the decade's end
JSW Group, an India-based steel manufacturer that ventured into the automobile business with acquisition of a 35% stake in MG Motor India, is targeting to expand its battery-cells manufacturing capacity to 50 GWh between 2028 and 2030, Autocar Professional reported Oct. 4.
