Auto semiconductors’ 2024 performance: Navigating H2 and beyond
Major semiconductor companies are optimistic about the industry's long-term growth, driven by the increased adoption of ADAS and electrification
Automotive semiconductor companies have declared their latest financial results for the year, as they continue to execute their strategy. In the first half of 2024, most experienced a decrease in revenue compared to the previous year, after three consecutive years of double-digit growth. Key players such as Infineon and NXP experienced slight year-over-year declines, with Infineon down by about 0.8% and NXP by 4.4%. STMicroelectronics suffered the biggest revenue drop, with a year-over-year decline of 18.4%.
