The recall affects 2023 and 2024 GM SUVs and pickups for failing to alert on low brake fluid levels, with a free software update offered

General Motors (GM) will recall 450,000 of its sport utility vehicles and pickups due to a fault in the vehicles' indicators that fail to alert drivers when brake fluid levels drop below safe limits, The Detroit Free Press reported Sept. 20.
