Exide Industries invests $11.9 million in wholly owned subsidiary for EV battery production
This additional funding is earmarked to support EESL's manufacturing initiatives, particularly the setup of the Bengaluru plant
India-based battery supplier Exide Industries has announced an investment of nearly 1 billion rupees (about $11.9 million) into its wholly owned subsidiary, Exide Energy Solutions Ltd. (EESL), via a rights issue, CNBC TV18 reported Sept. 13.
