The North Carolina Transportation Department has received $109 million in NEVI program funds to build out a network of EV chargers statewide over seven years

The North Carolina Transportation Department (NCDOT) has awarded contracts totaling $5.92 million to six businesses that will install and operate electric vehicle charging stations in nine locations along interstates and major highways, State Governor Roy Cooper’s office announced Sept. 11.
