California launches $242 million grant to assist low-income groups in buying ZEVs
Under DCAP, in exchange for scrapping an older vehicle, eligible participants can receive up to a $12,000 grant to purchase or lease a new or used ZEV
The California Air Resources Board (CARB) has launched a new $242 million initiative, namely the Driving Clean Assistance Program (DCAP), aimed at prioritizing low-income Californian citizens with financial support in terms of grants and loans to buy a zero-emission vehicle (ZEV), CARB announced Sept. 11.
