Toyota plans to commence production of batteries under PPES, PEVE and its own marquee from 2026, with a combined production capacity of about 9 GWh per year

Japanese carmaker Toyota Motor Corp. announced Sept. 6 that the development and production plans for its next-generation batteries (performance version) and all-solid-state batteries were certified by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).
