Indian government to set up new EV testing facility in Bengaluru

This new laboratory will be outfitted with advanced EV battery testing equipment capable of performing a wide array of tests

Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and New and Renewable Energy, Pralhad Venkatesh Joshi, is set to lay the foundation stone for the Electric Vehicle (EV) Testing Facility of National Test House (NTH) at the RRSL Camp in Bengaluru on 22nd August 2024. This facility is part of an initiative to expand the reach of testing facilities in South India, particularly for EV battery and charger testing.
