Opel implements additional ADAS system as per EU guidelines
Starting July 7, 2024, EU mandates additional assistance systems for vehicles
Starting July 7, 2024, the EU will enforce new regulations making additional assistance systems mandatory for new registrations of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles (LCVs) to enhance road safety. Opel is ahead of these requirements, incorporating advanced electronic aids across its models from the Corsa to the Combo, Mokka, Astra, Grandland and its new-generation LCVs including Opel Combo, Vivaro and Movano, which will feature up to 21 assistance systems, as reported in a press release on July 7.
