Amara Raja signs strategic partnership with Gotion InoBat Batteries
As part of the agreement, GIB EnergyX will license Gotion’s world-class lithium iron phosphate technology for lithium-ion cells to Amara Raja Advanced Cell Technologies, enabling the latter to manufacture LFP cells in both cylindrical and prismatic form factors in India
Amara Raja Advanced Cell Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (ARACT), a wholly owned subsidiary of Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Ltd., one of India’s leading battery manufacturers, has signed a technical licensing agreement with GIB EnergyX Slovakia sro., a subsidiary of mainland China’s Gotion High-Tech Co Ltd., the two companies said in a joint announcement June 24.
