SQM signs long-term lithium supply agreement with Hyundai and Kia

Hyundai and Kia have decided to secure a portion of their future lithium hydroxide supply from SQM

Sociedad Quimica Minera de Chile SA (SQM), an NYSE-listed lithium producer, announced June 17 that its fully owned subsidiary SQM Salar SA has signed a long-term agreement with South Korean carmaker Hyundai Motor Group and sister company Kia Corp. for the supply of lithium hydroxide.
