GMV incorporates positioning technology into BMW's Personal Pilot L3
GMV's positioning technology, featuring Safe Positioning Engine software and a Safe GNSS Correction Service, enhances safety in BMW's Level 3 automated driving
According to a press release June 12, GMV has incorporated its precise, safe and dependable positioning technology into BMW's Personal Pilot L3 function. The new feature, which is part of the BMW 7 Series, relies on SAE Level 3 automated driving that allows the vehicle to manage specific driving tasks within defined conditions, calling for human intervention only when the system comes across challenges that exceed its capabilities.
