Chery Chairman Yin Tongyao has confirmed that Jaguar Land Rover will adopt Chery’s M3X and E0X modular platforms to develop its own range of BEVs and PHEVs

British luxury-car maker Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) plans to develop battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) on its mainland China-based joint venture partner Chery’s M3X and E0X modular architectures, according to a news report published by online automotive news portal CarNewsChina.com on June 12.
