US state of Virginia to exit California EV mandate to ban combustion cars from 2035
Under the Advanced Clean Cars II, for cars with model year 2026, it is required that 35% of new cars sold must be EVs, moving up to 100% in 2035
The US state of Virginia plans to exit the California electric vehicle mandate as the current regulations expire by the end of 2024, according to a press note issued by the governor of Virginia on June 5.
