CharIN introduces OPNC protocol for EV charging for smoother interoperability
Developed by the CharIN OPNC Task Force, the OPNC protocol aims for interoperability in EV charging, supporting multiple PKIs and specifically addressing North American market needs
CharIn, a global association promoting the Combined Charging System (CCS) charging standard has introduced the Open Plug & Charge Network Communication (OPNC) Protocol to improve the plug and charge functionality of EV charging infrastructure, the association announced in a press release June 4.
