US government opens applications for $1.3 billion in funding for national EV charging network
The move is part of the US government’s ambition of building a national EV charging network of 500,000 public EV charging stations and halving national greenhouse gas emissions by 2030
The US government has opened applications for a $1.3 billion funding opportunity for electric vehicle (EV) charging and alternative-fueling infrastructure in urban and rural communities and along designated highways, interstates, and major roadways, the US Joint Office of Department of Energy (DOE) and Department of Transportation (DOT) announced on May 30.
