Beijing may raise tariffs on imported cars with large engines to 25%
Mainland China currently levies a tariff of 15% on imported cars
Mainland China must raise temporary tariffs on imported cars to a maximum of 25%, a senior executive from a government-affiliated automotive research organization said in an interview with state-run media publication Global Times on May 21.
