Hyundai Motor Co.'s leading global automaker has decided to hone its electric vehicle price competitiveness through tech advancement and efficient manufacturing process, following in the footsteps of its rivals to cut costs as the car industry's prospects are clouded by slower-than-expected EV uptake, the Korea Economic Daily reported March 21.
