INTERVIEW: bitsensing on 4D imaging radars for automotive industry
LiDAR’s lack of reliable performance across all types of road environments is considered its main weakness and prevents it from being widely implemented in vehicles, says Jae-Eun Lee, CEO at bitsensing.
bitsensing develops a variety of radar solutions such as its flagship 4D imaging radar solution for autonomous driving, the next-generation traffic radar Traffic Insight Monitoring Sensor (TIMOS), and AI Wellness Radar for illness prediction. The company generated 12 billion South Korean won ($10 million) in revenue in 2023, and its autonomous driving solution is currently undergoing further development for mass production in collaboration with a global automotive tier 1 supplier.
