Over the past few years, the automotive industry has focused on using recyclable materials to reduce its carbon footprint and create a circular economy. There have been significant developments to improve recyclability in electric vehicle batteries, use green steel and even substitute polyurethane (PU) with vegetal waste for the car’s interior; however, recyclability in automotive lighting is at a nascent stage.
