BorgWarner to supply electric motor components to mainland Chinese EV maker XPeng Motors
The electric motor components supplied by BorgWarner will be used by XPeng on its X9 MPV as well as its next electric B-class sedan
BorgWarner announced on Feb. 8 that it has begun producing an eMotor rotor and stator to be supplied to mainland Chinese EV maker XPeng Motors. It said that these electric motor components will be used by XPeng on its X9 MPV as well as its next electric B-class sedan, with start of production planned for the third quarter of 2024.
