General Motors, LG Chem sign $19 billion cathode material supply deal
LG Chem will supply GM more than 500,000 metric tons of cathode materials between 2026 and 2035
South Korean battery-materials company LG Chem has signed a 25 trillion won (about $19 billion) deal with US carmaker General Motors to supply the latter with battery cathode materials, LG Chem announced Feb. 7.
