Aptiv, involved in a $4 billion JV with Hyundai to establish Motional, revealed during its fourth-quarter earnings call that it will no longer invest in Motional's robo-taxi initiative

Motional, the autonomous vehicle company, is facing a setback in its quest to launch a robo-taxi service in 2024, as automotive supplier Aptiv, a key supporter, is withdrawing capital support, according to a report published by TechCrunch on Jan. 31.
