A long 75-year-old history of BMW producing combustion cars at its Munich car factory will come to an end in 2027

German luxury-car maker BMW announced Jan. 10 that its Munich factory will produce the electric sedan from the Neue Klasse series from 2026, and from 2027 onward the plant will produce only all-electric models.
