Battery swapping: On a comeback trail?
Given the size of Stellantis and its presence in all key markets, its partnership with Ample is by far the most significant boost battery swapping has received in its checkered history.
Over the years, the opinions on the feasibility of battery swapping technology have ranged from one extreme to the other with some stakeholders being optimistic about its future, and others believing it to be too niche and complicated to be a mass-market solution.
