Overcoming range anxiety: Consumers weigh in on acceptable EV charging time and range
Not deviating from previous surveys, the 2023 E-Mobility consumer analysis also throws up some interesting results around the acceptable charging times and minimum driving range per charge.
One of the two biggest impediments to a faster uptake of electric vehicles is the concern about charging times. Depending on the type of charger and the charging rate capacity of the EV, charging times can vary from fewer than 30 minutes to several hours.
