VinFast, Marubeni partner to repurpose EV batteries
Under the memorandum of understanding, VinFast and Marubeni plan to collaborate on researching and manufacturing battery energy storage systems using recycled electric vehicle batteries
Vietnamese EV maker VinFast and Japanese conglomerate Marubeni Corp. have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore opportunities in the secondary use of EV batteries and the potential to establish a circular economy model, VinFast announced Dec. 18.
