Allegro will supply its current sensor ICs to BMW for its traction inverter systems used in BEVs

Allegro MicroSystems, a leading supplier of power and sensing semiconductor technology for motion control and energy-efficient systems, announced October 17 that German luxury-car maker BMW Group has selected Allegro as the sole current-sensor integrated circuits (ICs) supplier for its traction inverter systems used across the company’s entire fleet of battery-electric vehicles (BEVs).
