Once considered the epitome of in-cabin luxury and accessible to only a handful of affluent car buyers, leather is slowly becoming the choice for upholstery material in mainstream vehicles. Even after significant technology advancements and the availability of fabric and artificial leather (also known as leatherette, faux leather, and synthetic leather) seat materials, leather continues to maintain its niche in the seating market.
