Demand for chips in vehicle lighting industry to stay strong
The automotive lighting industry hopes to gain from new lighting technologies and improved partnerships among OEMs, tier-1s, and chip suppliers while the global semiconductor bottleneck continues

The shortage has been aggravated by a variety of factors, ranging from changing market dynamics to geopolitical tensions. Shipping delays and shortages of semiconductors used in electronics such as LED drivers have extended lead times and impacted product availability in the lighting industry. This situation has driven several major LED product manufacturers globally to increase prices on LED luminaires and LED drivers.
