Baidu-backed automotive startup JiDU prepares for mass production of highly automated vehicles
The new vehicle is capable of Level 4 autonomous driving
JiDU's CEO, Joe Xia, announced on Chinese social media platform that the company has commenced body mould casting for its first mass-produced automobile. It has now officially moved from model design to mass production preparation, according to a report published by Pandaily on 25 May 2022.
