General Motors is said to cover the cost of retrofitting vehicles that were built without chips due to shortage

General Motors said that vehicles sold without heated and ventilated seat features due to the global semiconductor shortage will be eligible starting in the middle of 2022 for a retrofit that will help activate these seat function features according to a statement by Reuters on 19 November.
