Stellantis to halt production at Sevel, Italy plant over chip shortage
In July, Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares warned the semiconductor shortage could drag into next year.
According to an ETAuto press release dated August 27, production at a Stellantis plant in Italy producing light commercial vehicles will be halted next week due to a semiconductor shortage, a carmaker spokesperson said on Friday, confirming a trade union statement.
