According to a CBS News press release dated 30 June, Ford Motor Company announced the closure of several plants in the United States for a few weeks in July and August due to a global semiconductor shortage.The vehicles affected include the Ford F-150, Mustang, Escape, and Lincoln Nautilus, among others.
