POLICY: Germany's new EV subsidy program takes effect

The new subsidy scheme will remain in effect until 31 December 2021

Last month, Germany decided to double its contribution to electric vehicle (EV) purchase subsidy to EUR6,000 (USD7,681) as part of its strategy to bring recovery in vehicle demand in the country, adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
