Germany grants USD 337 million to batterymaker Varta for local battery production
Four other companies, BASF, BMW Group, Opel, and Umicore, with battery-cell projects in Germany, will also be receiving grants in the future
German government has granted EUR300 million (USD337 million) to batterymaker Varta for push domestic battery production, Germany Trade and Invest announced in a press release on 30 June.
