ACEA opposes US plans to impose higher tariffs on vehicles, auto parts
Denies US government assessment that imported vehicles and auto parts are a threat to national security
The European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA), the association of vehicle manufacturers in Europe, has reiterated its opposition to any trade restrictive measures by the United States that are incompatible with the World Trade Organization (WTO) rules, according to a press release by the association. ACEA has also disputed that US government assessment that imported vehicles and auto parts are a threat to their national security.
