Advancements within the automotive technology space is not only limited to the electronics penetration in components. Another area that has garnered substantial pace in the last decade is the advancement of material sciences – a major contributor in revolutionizing the development of ‘new-age’ automotive components. By altering the DNA of automotive components which traditionally comprised archaic materials in the form of iron, copper and so on, component manufacturers have turned towards composites, which also includes scouting for sustainable materials to be fused with traditional materials for vehicle applications.
