ACEA supports the initiatives but considers CO2 emissions reduction targets for heavy-duty segments "too aggressive"

The European Commission (EC) has announced third and final set of measures for safe, clean and connected mobility. To promote safe mobility and reduce traffic accidents on European roads, the Commission has proposed that the new models of vehicles come equipped with advanced safety features such as advanced emergency breaking, lane keeping assist system or pedestrian and cyclists’ detection system for trucks.
