Reconfirms full year financial outlook

Infineon Technologies’ net income increased 36% year-over-year (y/y) to EUR253 million (USD288.6 million as on 30 June 2017) in the third quarter ended 30 June 2017, the Germany-based semiconductor company said in a press release on 1 August. The company reported 33% y/y growth in segment result to EUR338 million and segment result margin of 18.5%, while operating income jumped 30% y/y to EUR298 million. Infineon recorded higher earnings in the third quarter driven by 12% y/y increase in revenue to EUR1.83 billion.
