Audi, Porsche to jointly develop new vehicle architecture
Two VW brands will collaborate on a range of projects including electrification, digitization and autonomous driving
Audi and Porsche have agreed to jointly develop new vehicle architecture that will underpin their future vehicles, the two premium brands of the Volkswagen Group said in a press release on 5 April. The automakers plan to collaborate on a range of projects including electrification, digitization and autonomous driving. These projects will be jointly headed by representatives from each brand. In the coming months, joint teams from Audi and Porsche will prepare the specific areas of cooperation and define a roadmap to 2025.
