Germany discussing an amendment in 1968 Vienna Convention on Road Traffic to allow Level 3 and Level 4 of autonomous driving

Audi’s upcoming A8 flagship sedan will be its first production vehicle capable of Level 3 autonomous driving when it goes on sales later this year. However, the automaker may not make its self-driving feature immediately available at launch as few governments are passing new laws that make running of such vehicles legal, Automotive News Europe (ANE) reported on 23 April.
