IHS consumer survey shows strong interest in smartphone integration and Apple/Google software
The mass prevalence of smartphones across the globe is affecting consumer preferences when driving and when shopping for a new car. Consumers want a high level of integration between their smartphone and their infotainment system, and some consumers also showed a strong desire for both Apple and Google to bring software to the car.
