A MORE environmentally activist federal government in the United States is pushing electrification of the nation's vehicle fleet much more aggressively. President Obama has set a target of one million electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles on the road in the United States by 2015. That is out of the 250m vehicles currently on the road.
