The two companies plan to set up 500 battery-swap stations in 2025, with a long-term target of building a network of 10,000 battery-swap stations

Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Ltd. (CATL), the world's largest battery-maker, and Sinopec Group, one of the largest energy companies in mainland China, have formalized a partnership aimed at developing an electric vehicle battery-swap infrastructure across the region.
