Sion Power, a company specializing in lithium-metal battery technology, announced the installation of a new large-format battery cell production line, developed in partnership with Mühlbauer Group. This move is aimed at commercializing Sion Power's Licerion battery technology, which is expected to address key barriers to mass EV adoption such as range, cost and charge time.
