Softbank announces autonomous driving support system on AITRAS Edge AI Server
The system transmits real-time footage from a front-facing camera installed in an autonomous vehicle to the edge AI server of AITRAS via a 5G network
As reported in a press release on March 19, SoftBank Corp. has developed a "remote autonomous driving support system" aimed at facilitating the implementation of Level 4 autonomous driving by utilizing edge AI server technology from AITRAS, a solution that merges AI with Radio Access Network (RAN).
