Tier IV unveils steering wheel-free robo-taxi prototype
The prototype, part of a Japan-led initiative, features Autoware software and a conversational AI for enhanced user experience
In a press release on March 20, Tier IV announced the unveiling of a new robo-taxi prototype devoid of steering wheel and pedals, set to be showcased at an event hosted by Sagamihara, Kanagawa Prefecture, and Central Japan Railway starting March 22.
