Mazda’s Skyactiv-Z technology also reduces the number of engine components and control software, thus increasing efficiency in development and production

Announcing its revised electrification strategy on March 18, Japanese carmaker Mazda Motor Corp. said that it would focus on offering multiple powertrain options, including efficient gasoline engines, fully electrified and hybrid propulsion systems, along with forging key partnerships and reducing investment requirements to enhance competitiveness in the mid-to-long term.
