Honda Motor has decided to procure batteries for its hybrid vehicles from Toyota Motor's plant in the United States, a response to the changing geopolitical landscape influenced by President Donald Trump's tariff policies. This strategic shift is set to begin in fiscal 2025, with Honda planning to source batteries for around 400,000 vehicles, covering all the hybrid vehicles it sells in the U.S.
